Pastor Herbert Jackson

 

 

 

 

Herbert H. Jackson, Jr., serves as the Senior Pastor of the Life Changing Church, which he organized in November, 1998 along with his wife, Pastor Patricia Jackson.

 

He was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel at the New Macedonia Baptist Church in Washington, DC, where he served in various capacities under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Robert. L. Walls, Sr. Dr. Jackson serves as the District Presbyter for the Eastern Region of Go Tell It Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn. He is a professor of Biblical Studies at the Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute in Washington, DC, and previously served as the 2nd Presiding Overseer of the New Smyrna Diocese, under the leadership of Bishop Earl A. Ross.

 

Professionally, he is an Executive at the Government Printing Office, where he has served as the Acting Chief Management Officer, Chief Acquisition Officer and is currently the Managing Director for Business Products and Services. He is a Senior Fellow in the Council for Excellence in Government and a member of the National Contract Managers Association. Dr. Jackson was educated in the D.C. Public Schools and attended the University of Maryland, College Park, Washington Bible College of Lanham, MD and the Sure Foundation Bible College of Seminole, Florida. He is a 2009 graduate of the Harvard University Business School Executive Education Program, with a concentration in General Management. In June, 2010 he received the Doctorate of Divinity Degree from the Sword of the Spirit Bible Institute of Washington, DC.

 

He and his wife are the proud parents of two children, Whittney Jeanelle and Herbert, III. Pastor Jackson is a bible believing and bible teaching preacher, who loves the Lord and the people of God. His principle for life and success is found in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first, the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you.”
